FACILITIES

The Transmedia Room is a multi-purpose studio with a green screen cyclorama and a sculpture and drawing area. It is here that the physical world of objects and performers can be digitized and enter into the virtual realm of 3D animation and processed media. The room, in effect, serves as an open laboratory for special effects, music video and contemporary installation arts.

The Print Room is dedicated to printing, cutting, mounting and critiques. It features a large-format,
44" wide Epson 9800 printer and gallery-quality lighting.

The Media Arts Center ("MAC Lab") contains sixteen Macintosh workstations, an isolation booth, and a full array of audio, video, and animation tools and software. The art and music programs share this facility, allowing for a variety of interdisciplinary collaborations.

The Edit Suite is a cluster of Macintosh towers dedicated to high-end video editing and 3D animation rendering.
